Competing against other branches

Each year our Waikato branch competes against the Te Awamutu Branch at the .22 Indoor Range with the highest scoring team taking the honours.

Our Waikato branch also competes against the Taupo Branch on the Outdoor Range for the Cock - O - Roost trophy with the highest scoring team taking the trophy for the year.

Centrefire 20 shot match - with 2 sighters in the prone position.
Scope power up to 6 1/2 max.

Typical Competition: 5 shots prone @100 metres
5 shots standing @ 100 m.
5 shots in either sit or kneel @ 200 m.
5 shots prone @ 200 m.

Silhouette shoot with .22 rifles 40 shot match
Scope power up to 9 max.

10 shots @ 40 m.
10 shots @ 60 m.
10 shots @ 77 m.
10 shots @ 100 m.

Indoor .22 Shoot

First Indoor .22 Shoot for the year. Held at the Dey St. Indoor .22 Range, just behind the club. Door opens at 7pm for sighters, first detail at 7.30pm. Friends and visitors welcome. Tea and biscuits provided.
