Members, This month’s social evening will be held on Thursday, June 15th, at our clubrooms at 975 Wairere Drive, Hamilton East. We will be hosting as our guest speaker Nicole McKee, ACT party list MP and spokesperson for firearms, justice, conservation and veterans. Note that the address above is the same location as our previous Dey Street address. The new Wairere Drive address will be used moving forward to avoid confusion when finding the clubrooms. Before entering politics, Nicole ran her own business providing firearms safety training, and is a four-time New Zealand shooting champion. Nicole was the coordinator of the nation’s volunteer firearms safety instructors for the Mountain Safety Council and the spokesperson for the Council of Licenced Firearms Owners (COLFO) and its Fair and Reasonable Campaign. Doors open 6:30pm for a 7pm start. $5 entry per person, with a raffle on the door. All welcome, so feel free to bring along a friend or family member.
